Mason Bellamy has spent the last 15 years with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. After beginning his career as an elementary educator, he moved on to be an assistant principal at the elementary level. Following his service as an assistant principal he became an elementary and middle school principal before assuming the role of the Director of Services for Exceptional Students. He now currently serves as the Director of Elementary Schools in CMCSS. He currently oversees the operation of 24 Elementary schools serving over 17,000 students in Pre-K-5thgrades. While supporting 24 excellent principals, who are the foundations of success, in the past academic year 60 percent of the elementary schools in CMCSS were given the status of “reward” school by the state of Tennessee. He has been fortunate to work for visionary leaders who always ask how we can better support students by better supporting teachers and principals. Knowing that the foundation of his own success was built upon the shoulders of others he is committed to placing every educator in environments where they have access to the tools they need to be the best version of themselves.
