DR. KIMBERLEY CANTU
ASSOCIATE SUPERINTENDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
MANSFIELD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT (TX)
Dr. Kimberley Cantu is in her 26th year in public school education. Her teaching and coaching career began at Llano High School in 1992. The following year she accepted a teaching and coaching position at Mansfield High School where she also served as an Assistant Principal and the Associate Principal for Academics. From 2006-2012, she worked in a neighboring district as a campus principal, a director in Curriculum and Instruction, and the Executive Director of Human Resources. She returned to Mansfield in 2012 and is now the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English from Tarleton State University, Dr. Cantu completed her Mid-Management certification with Texas Woman’s University and received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M-Commerce. She also holds lifetime State Board of Educator Certifications in English and Mid-Management.
Dr. Cantu believes in giving back to the community and is an active member of the Mansfield Rotary Club and participates in Meals on Wheels. She is also a member of the service team with Pathway Church in Burleson where she regularly gives of her time. Kimberley is married to Jerry Cantu, also an educator, who works as the Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator for Northwest ISD. They have four daughters: Courtney, Kendall, Hannah, and Harper and reside in Mansfield, Texas.
